Dear George R.R. Martin and the cast and crew of Game of Thrones,

Please be kind to me this season. Yes, I haven’t read A Clash of Kings (but I will get it to), but that shouldn’t make a difference. Just please be kind to me and the characters I enjoy (and hate) watching, even though some probably have gruesome fates and others have less gruesome fates. Not everyone has a happy ending.

I can’t think of much else to add, but I’m on a Game of Thrones high after finishing my marathon of season 1 earlier (episodes 8 through 10). I can’t believe that that happened to Marillion … barely got screen time and now … who knows?

Well, I’m off to a friend’s to watch the premiere.

finished Breakfast of Champions (fantastic by the way, I forgot how much I liked Vonnegut’s writing style). Started Game of Thrones, stoked on it.

I’m on the third one. Shit’s like crack.

My brother picked up the copy I had on hold at the library yesterday. It’s currently on my To Read pile … after “The Yiddish Policemen’s Union”, “The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay”, “Handling the Undead”, “What the Night Knows”, “Full Dark, No Stars”, “House of Leaves”, “The Color of Magic”, and “On a Pale Horse”.
