The Science of Doctor Who [x]
For one night only, Professor Brian Cox takes an audience of celebrity guests, including Charles Dance and Rufus Hound, and members of the public on a journey into the wonderful universe of the Doctor, from the lecture hall of the Royal Institution of Great Britain. Drawing on the latest theories as well as 200 years of scientific discoveries and the genius of Einstein, Brian tries to answer the classic questions raised by the Doctor - can you really travel in time? Does extra-terrestrial life exist in our galaxy? And how do you build something as fantastical as the TARDIS?

When Steven said that each episode would feel like a mini movie, he wasn’t kidding.
And the premiere date … September 1st. Or at least that’s what I’m hearing from this Doctor Who group on Facebook.
Doctor Who star Matt Smith wants to reunite all the old Time Lords for a special anniversary show in 2013.
The 28-year-old actor is hoping that all the living actors who have taken on the role will get together in 2013 for the show’s 50th anniversary.
According to UK newspaper The Sun, Smith said: ‘I’d love for it to happen. How amazing would it be to see Tom Baker? Can you imagine just seeing him back in the scarf, man? That would be amazing.
‘Paul McGann is a great actor, man, and a great Doctor. I say bring back Chris and Dave, too! How many Doctors can we get into one story?’
The other living stars to have played the role include: Tom Baker, Peter Davidson, Colin Baker, Sylvester McCoy, Paul McGann, Christopher Eccleston and David Tennant.
Can we please?!
